Children & Youth Ministry

At First Christian Church, we care about the children and youth of our community. We make it a priority to create meaningful ministries that will help them grow in their faith. Through our programs, we develop age appropriate Bible education and learning experiences. Through our volunteers in ministry, we create a warm and inviting environment that is built on relationships that care and pour themselves in the lives of each and every child.

Sunday Mornings

@ 9am & 10:45am

New City Kids is our children's ministry for kiddos ages birth through 5th grade. We teach kids who Jesus is and who God says they are and who they are in Christ. Philippians 3:20 reminds us that we are citizens of heaven…a new city.

All of our kids ministry volunteers have passed background checks. We have a security team walking through the facility to make sure they’re safe. When you bring your kids to FCC, we’ll help you check them into our secured system and you can have confidence that they are safe and sound!

We use the Gospel Project Curriculum that points kids to Jesus, as well as helping equip parents to be the primary disciple-makers. These lessons are Biblical, centered on the Gospel and taught by loving and caring children’s volunteers and helpers. We work hard at making sure every child is loved and cared for, as well as helping parents. We think you and your kids will love it here.

Wednesday Evenings

@ 6:00pm

212 is our ministry to students in Junior and Senior High. Here, we spend our time building strong and healthy relationships with teens helping them grow in the faith of Jesus Christ.

We know that there are many groups, events, and activities that students today can do. Our student ministry at FCC is an investment into your teens. It is our intent to be a resource of Christian leadership for your son or daughter. We would like to come alongside your family to help you strengthen your relationship, not only with God, but with each other.

We lead students in a very real and inviting way. Our volunteers engage with our students frequently so that they stay connected. Any student from any background is welcomed. We teach students how to lead other students in their walk with God.
